Cut up and season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in pan on stove top then set aside.
In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, heat up coriander seeds to release more of their flavor.
Once fragrant, add sliced chili peppers and lightly sauté until Chilis are also fragrant
Add in broth and water, allow to simmer. Season in well with turmeric, ground cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Once soup is simmering add in tomato paste and coconut oil, stir to melt and combine. Let soup simmer for about 5-10 mins.
Reduce heat on the stove and add the juice of half of a lime.
Place cooked chicken into the bottom of the bowl and ladle the soup over top.
Garnish with cilantro.
